After more than a year’s construction, China·Wulin Art Museum officially completed its main structure. It is expected to conclude the interior decoration in March 2022 and the outdoor project in April 2022.
The design concept of Wulin Art Museum is taken from the “Castle in the sky”, the movie directed by Miyazaki Hayao.
Wulin Art Museum has a total construction area of 48,905 square meters, with seven floors above ground and two floors underground. Art exhibitions and art collections will be held here in the future.
The museum is divided into three functional sections.
Floor 6-7 is the art exhibition area, which looks like a long scroll suspended in the air from a distance. Various art exhibitions will be mainly exhibited on these two floors .
The 4th and 5th floors are air corridors. In the future, the corridors will be cafes and light food bars for visitors to rest.
The ground floor area is attached to the community, with functions of memorial display of urban village reconstruction, education and training, community support facilities and so on.
